Travis Ray, D.M.D.

Being a Florida native from Tampa Bay area, Dr. Ray graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2005. He discovered Palm Coast while looking for a place to practice and chose to make it home.

As an outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Ray enjoys many activities and the “old Florida” style of the area’s coast.

Presently, Dr. Ray lives in Flagler County with his wife, two children, and Lucy the Labradoodle! He has been a part of the team at Florida Family Dentistry since 2005 and he’s loved having the opportunity to serve his community.

Jordan Johnston, D.M.D.

Dr. Jordan S. Johnston grew up in Western North Carolina and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Utah. He received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Florida and remains a lifelong patient of the practice.

Presently, he lives in Palm Coast with his wife, Jackie. They have three children, Gabe, Briona, and Trevin.

Dr. Jordan S. Johnston likes volunteering with his children’s sports teams. He participates with them in camping, canoeing, biking, and other activities on the weekend.

Selycette Hamner, D.M.D.

Born in New York, Dr. Selycette Hamner moved to Florida at the age of 5. Her passion for the outdoors and dentistry began when she was growing up near Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Hamner is a UF graduate of Microbiology and received her dental degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. During this time, she also got comprehensive knowledge of all current dental techniques. She was also a Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist before she pursued her dental degree.

Currently, Dr. Hamner lives in Palm Coast with her husband, Norman and their three children, Olivia, Lillian, and Elliot.

Dr. Hamner participates in numerous outdoor activities in Flagler County. She loves helping new patients and is happy to offer quality dental care for patients in Palm Coast and the surrounding areas.

Jonathan Grimes, D.D.S.

Dr. Jonathan Grimes is a dedicated family dentist committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to his patients. Originally from Upstate New York, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy for four years before pursuing his dental education. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Columbia University in 2017.

Dr. Grimes now lives in Palm Coast with his wife, Cindy, their three young sons, Thomas, John, and Simon, and their dog, Minnie-Mouse.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Grimes enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. His hobbies include biking, fishing, painting, and exploring the natural beauty of the area.

Garett Johnston, D.M.D.

Dr. Garett Johnston is proud to return home to Palm Coast and join the team at Florida Family Dentistry – the very practice where he grew up. A Palm Coast native, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, where he developed a strong foundation in restorative and family dentistry.

Following in his parents’ footsteps, Dr. Garett Johnston is passionate about providing empathetic, patient-centered care. He’s dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and well-informed about their dental health.

When he’s not creating healthy smiles, he enjoys golfing, riding his Onewheel around town, and clay target shooting.

He is honored to serve the community that helped shape him and is excited to continue the tradition of excellence at Florida Family Dentistry.
