Registered Dental Hygienist (R.D.H.)

Jessica P. is a Registered Dental Hygienist who was born in St. Augustine and grew up in Palm Coast. She graduated with honors from Daytona State College with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. Right after graduation, Jessica joined our team here at Florida Family Dentistry. She is a patient-focused clinician, driven to provide a personalized experience along with the highest quality of care. Jessica aims to build relationships with her patients and educate them on the importance of their oral health.

Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys making memories with her son, Chase, by riding bikes, going to the beach, playing soccer, and watching movies.

Christine G.

Certified Registered Dental Hygienist (C.R.D.H.)

Christine was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. She started her dental career in 1998 as a Dental Assistant and continued working as she completed her Bachelor of Science degree, which she received in 2004. In 2006, she completed dental hygiene school and has been practicing since.

Christine and her husband, Andrew, live in Palm Coast with their two children. They enjoy spending time traveling with family and friends as well as watching their children play sports.

Barbara

Certified Registered Dental Hygienist (C.R.D.H.)

Barbara was born and raised in New Jersey. She moved to Palm Coast in 1997. Before she became a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist, Barbara improved her early dental skills as a Dental Assistant. She has worked in Periodontics, Pediatrics, Orthodontics and General Dentists Offices. In 2005, she obtained her license in Dental Hygiene and has been working and living in Palm Coast.

Apart from work, Barbara enjoys reading, listening to music and bike riding. She also likes spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids.

Jessica B.

Certified Registered Dental Hygienist (C.R.D.H.)

Jessica B. has been a dedicated part of the Florida Family Dentistry team since 2017. With a background in dental assisting and degree in Dental Hygiene, she’s also certified to administer local anesthetic – ensuring patients are as comfortable as possible during their visits.

Born and raised in Flagler County, Jessica loves connecting with her local community through her work. Outside of the office, you’ll find her enjoying the great outdoors – whether its riding side by sides, spending time at the beach, or adventuring with her daughter.

Jessica is compassionate about creating a positive, stress-free experience for every patient she sees and takes pride in helping people maintain their healthiest smiles.

Kaley

Certified Registered Dental Hygienist (C.R.D.H.)

Kaley is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist who was born in Daytona Beach and raised in Palm Coast. She received her bachelor's degree from Florida International University where she competed in Division 1 Soccer all 4 years she studied. Prior to becoming a Dental Hygienist, Kaley practiced as a Dental Assistant for 7 years. She is passionate about patient care and treating patients like family.

Kaley lives here in Palm Coast with her husband, Allen and step-daughter, Makayla. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching sports and anything outdoors.

Catie

Certified Registered Dental Hygienist (C.R.D.H.)

Catie is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist dedicated to providing exceptional preventive care and helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. With a gentle touch and a passion for patient education, Catie strives to make every dental visit a positive experience while promoting lifelong oral health.

Outside of the office, Catie enjoys spending time outdoors – whether it’s hunting, boating, or relaxing with friends and family. Life on the farm also keeps her busy caring for a variety of animals, a lifestyle that reflects her hardworking, compassionate nature.

Catie combines professionalism with genuine care, making patients feel right at home from the moment they sit in the chair.

Ashley P.

Certified Registered Dental Hygienist (C.R.D.H.)

Originally from Germany, Ashley began her dental journey as a dental assistant before moving to the U.S. and earing her Dental Hygiene degree from Daytona State College. She joined our office in 2022 and is certified in administering local anesthesia – making her skilled at both keeping patients comfortable and helping them leave with a brighter, healthier smile.

She’s especially passionate about educating patients on proper oral care and has a soft spot for older patients and those with dental anxiety. Her calm, friendly approach helps even the most nervous patients feel right at home.

With a strong work ethic and a genuine love for what she does, Ashley often jokes that most of her closest friends are also her coworkers – and she wouldn’t have it any other way. When she’s not in the office, she has a love for Sunday golf. You’ll also find her soaking up the sun by the pool with a good book, planning her next trip, or spoiling her beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Josie.

Ashley L.

Ashley L. is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Born and raised in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she has lived in Pennsylvania and North Carolina before settling in Florida, where she’s called home for the past 14 years.

A proud graduate of Daytona State College with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene (2021) and certification in local anesthesia, Ashley is passionate about creating lasting relationships with her patients. She strives to make every visit comfortable while educating patients on the importance of oral health and preventive care.

Outside of work, Ashely enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, especially at the beach or visiting Disney.

Christina

Administrative Assistant

With over 39 years of dedicated service at our dental practice, Christina brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and warmth to her role. She is the welcoming face and organized mind behind the front desk, ensuring each patient’s visit runs smoothly – from scheduling appointments to navigating insurance details. Her deep understanding of office operations and genuine commitment to patient care have made her an integral part of the team and a trusted resource for both staff and patients alike.

Recently married, she brings the same joy and positivity from her personal life into her professional role every day.

Sharon

Practice Manager

Sharon has been a valued part of our dental family for over 34 years. A Flagler County native, she’s deeply rooted in the community and takes great pride in helping our patients feel comfortable and cared for. After graduating from Flagler Palm Coast High School, she continued her education at Daytona State University and later earned her Dental Assisting and Dental Radiography certifications from the University of Florida.

Sharon’s warm smile and genuine care have made her a familiar and trusted face in our office over her 34 years with the practice. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time outdoors boating and fishing with her family and friends.

Bo

Insurance Coordinator and Verterans Administrative Community Care Coordinator

Bo has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. She began her dental career as a Certified Dental Assistant after attending Daytona State College.

She joined Florida Family Dentistry in 2010 as a Dental Assistant and continued working full-time while attending University of Central Florida at night to earn her bachelor's degree in Business Administration. After graduating UCF, she became our Insurance Coordinator. Bo also coordinates care to qualifying disabled veterans within the community with the Veteran's Administration.

Laura R.

Administrative Assistant

Laura, moved to Palm Coast in 2001 from New York. She has been working in the dental field since 2001 and she joined our practice in 2012 as an Administrative Assistant.

Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to travel.

Christine C.

Administrative Assistant

By day, I’m the administrative Assistant for Florida Family Dentistry – master of calendars, phone calls, and the occasional insurance mystery. I keep the front desk running smoother than freshly polished teeth, all while making patients feel right at home (even if they’d rather be anywhere else).

When I’m off the clock, you’ll find me nose-deep in a good book, lounging poolside like it’s a sport, or turning my garden into something halfway between a peaceful retreat and a jungle. Add in family time, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for balance.

Organized, approachable, and always up for a challenge – whether its tracking down a missing appointment or figuring out why my tomatoes are suddenly dramatic.

Karen

Dental Assistant to Dr. Jonathan Grimes

Karen has been a proud part of Florida Family Dentistry for more than 36 years. With a caring touch and an eye for detail, she helps patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental care.

Specializing in complete and partial denture relines, implant denture relines, night guard fabrication, and orthodontic retainer fabrication, Karen combines years of hands-on experience with a genuine love for helping people smile again.

Her friendly nature, steady professionalism, and dedication to patient comfort have made her a cherished member of the Florida Family Dentistry team – and a friendly face patients are always happy to see.

Fernie

Hygiene Assistant

Fernanda, our hygiene assistant, was born in Elizabeth, NJ, but grew up in Portugal from the age of 3. She returned to New Jersey at the age of 12 and graduated from Elizabeth High School. Fernie speaks fluent English, Portuguese and Spanish.

She has been in the dental profession since 1984, when she received her associate's degree from Union County College and worked in New Jersey as a Dental Assistant. After moving to Florida in 1988, she joined our team at Florida Family Dentistry. Fernanda received her Expanded Functions Certification at the University of Florida.

Fernanda has two children and apart from work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, going to Broadway plays, swimming, biking, and going to Disney.

Dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to Dr. Travis Ray, with twelve years of experience. She takes pride in creating a calm, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and well cared for. Passionate about oral health and always eager to learn new techniques to better serve our community.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping and exploring new places. She is also an avid reader and loves learning about health and wellness topics in her free time.

Amber

Dental Assistant to Dr. Selycette Hamner

Amber was born and raised in Indiana and moved to Palm Coast from Kentucky in 2019. In 2005, she received her Dental Assisting certification in Georgia and is Dr. Selycette Hamner's assistant. She enjoys meeting and caring for our patients. .

Amber and her husband enjoy spending time and making memories with their five children and 1 granddaughter. She also enjoys being outdoors, biking and going to the beach.

Faith

Dental Assistant to Dr. Jordan Johnston

Faith is an energetic and caring Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions and Radiology certifications from UF. She’s passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident during their visits, and loves bringing a little humor to the dental chair.

Faith enjoys meeting new patients daily and always keeps things fun with her great sense of humor and friendly banter with the doctor.

When she’s not in the office, you can usually find her hanging out with her coworkers and friends, pushing weights at the gym, or spending time with her cate, Tyger.

Lisa

Dental Assistant to Dr. Travis Ray

Lisa was born and raised in North Carolina and moved to Palm Coast in 2021. In 2014, she received her Dental Assisting certification in NC and is Dr. Travis Ray’s assistant.

Lisa, her husband, and two dogs live here in Palm Coast. She enjoys traveling, trying new foods, going to the beach, and visiting with family.

Alex

Dental Assistant to Dr. Garett Johnston

Alexandra has been brightening smiles as a Certified Dental Assistant for over six years, bringing both skill and a healthy dose of good humor to every appointment. She earned her Expanded Functions Certification at AAA School of Dental Assisting in Sanford, FL, and she’s been perfecting her chairside manner ever since.

When she’s not helping patients feel at ease, Alexandra is chasing after her energetic 8-year-old daughter or chasing a golf ball down the fairway (one of those is usually more successful than the other). She believes life is too short not to laugh- especially in the dental office.

Nicole

Sterilization Technician

Nicole joined our team in 2024. She was born and raised in Georgia. She moved to Palm Coast in 2024 with her husband, daughter, and mother-in-law. Nicole and her husband, Austin, have one daughter, Lacey. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets. In their free time, Nicole and her family are out enjoying their side by sides at mud bogs. Nicole also enjoys hunting, fishing, going to the beach, and camping.

Brooklynn

Dental Assistant to Dr. Jordan Johnston

Brooklynn is a dedicated Dental Assistant with over 4 years of experience, known for her attention to detail and genuine care for patients. Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska where she lived for 25 years, she recently made the move to Flagler Beach, Florida, bringing her love for the outdoors, art, and exploring new places. Brooklynn brings warmth and precision to every patient interaction – and when she’s not in the office, she’s spending time with her beloved dog and three cats.

Jennifer

Dental Assistant to Dr. Jonathan Grimes

From Long Island to Palm Coast, Jennifer brings empathy, humor, and heart to every dental visit. In 2023, after 40 years up north, she and her husband, Kyle, traded traffic for palm trees. She earned her Radiology and Expanded Functions certifications in St. Petersburg, Florida, and loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. When she’s not in the office, she’s boating, fishing relaxing at the beach, or spoiling her three dogs.
